HERTZ Car Rental at Reykjavik Airport

Before finding your way to Hertz’s rental car service counter at Reykjavik Airport, please remember to collect your luggage from the baggage claim area. Then all travelers should follow the exit signs to the arrivals hall.

Hertz does not have a vehicle rental office at this location. Therefore, it may be required that the customer is proceeding to the nearby servicing location. Alternatively, a representative from the Hertz car hire company will meet you at the airport and take you to the car pick-up location. Please coordinate the pick-up and drop off location with the service staff once you make the booking.

It is worth noting that Hertz also provides car rentals at the nearby Keflavik Airport.

Hertz offers a wide range of special equipment for your rental if you want something extra for your further journey. These can all be added while booking a car.

If you add the equipment during the booking on the website, Hertz will prepare everything you need in advance. All customers will have to pay for the extra accessories upon arrival at the rental desk.

Returning your rented vehicle

Once you are ready to return your rented vehicle, this can conveniently be done at the same location as the pick-up spot, which you arranged upon your booking. At Reykjavik Airport there will be signs pointing back to the parking facilities.
